Coral Island is in a state of war with the United States of America. Read Proclamation No. 2 of 2026 in the Gazette.
My fellow Coral Islanders,
Tonight the United States of America and the State of San Andreas told the world that this nation is their enemy. They froze what belongs to us. They tore up their recognition of waters our people have fished and sailed for as long as there has been a Coral Island. They put my name, and the name of an officer of this Government, on warrants for crimes we did not commit.
Not one word of their accusation was put to us before it was read out to the cameras. Not one piece of their evidence has been shown to us. A month ago, when Los Santos was burning and its own government was telling its people that nothing had happened, Coral Island sent help. Tonight we are told that help was a crime.
I will not let this nation be bullied. When a foreign power says it will intercept our aircraft and our ships in our own waters, that is not diplomacy. It is an act of aggression, and Coral Island will answer it.
So tonight I have signed a proclamation declaring that a state of war exists between Coral Island and the United States of America. The Defence Force has been placed on a war footing to defend our territory, our waters and our skies. Every agreement with the United States and with the State of San Andreas is ended. No warrant of theirs means anything on this island, and no Coral Islander will be handed over to them.
I want to say something to the people of San Andreas and of the United States, because many of you have stood with us. You are not our enemy. If you are on this island in good faith, you are safe here, and you are free to leave. Our quarrel is with a government that chose accusation over conversation.
To my own people: stay calm, stay together, and follow the guidance of the Government. Coral Island has survived storms before. We will survive this one, between the reef and the sea, as we always have.
Thank you, and God bless Coral Island.
